Returned from a spa overnight including dinner and breakfast. The first obvious is that the hotel rooms are not the most modern / aesthetically in presentation however, this did not dull our experience. The staff are approachable and friendly, thanks to Beatrice and the spa team, excellent customer care and service! Val at front desk was also lovely. The spa / pool / gym facilities were great. Dinner was nice and the breakfast was well varied. The view from our room was scenic and this added to the needed chill out time!

We had a great last minute stay at this hotel with our little dog. Reasonably priced for a king size room and a small £20 supplement per night for our dog. The room was spacious and clean. Not the most modern hotel but I quite like an old fashioned aesthetic so it didn’t bother me. Bathroom a big size and in good condition with complementary shower gel etc. The bed was comfy and the location peaceful with beautiful views of surrounding hills. The pool was clean and decent size. Gym had lots of equipment so no complaints there. I would stay here again. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. It was perfectly ok but a little pricey for what it was and we decided not to eat at the restaurant cause it was expensive.

I would like to say that the staff at this hotel were amazing especially Fiona, she was extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. We stayed there during Hogmanay, and she provided us with great assistance throughout our stay. She also gave us excellent recommendations for places to eat. We accidentally left one of our phone chargers at the hotel, and they were kind enough to send it back to us afterward, which we really appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We are just back from an overnight for our anniversary and I wanted to take a moment to leave a review because we had such a special time away. Our room had amazing views and we loved how peaceful it was. The room was beside the spa so we loved the ease of just popping along for a swim and sauna and back to relax in our room. We had our dinner in the restaurant which was very tasty. The staff were very attentive and friendly and they very kindly gave us drinks for free as it was our anniversary ( a lovely touch). We loved the breakfast, looking out the lovely big windows at the beautiful countryside. We will definitely return as we loved it so much. Thanks again.

4 of us stayed overnight at this hotel. Hotel staff Salim, Karolina, William and all the staff where very welcoming and made our overnight stay at the hotel with our 2 disabled room mates. Myself and my cousins took them away for a break and we could not fault our lovely stay with the beautiful surroundings. The hotel was very clean. We also enjoyed the spa facilities and staff where also very helpful, especially with the wheelchair. EXCELLENT place to go for a city break.

Salim the Manager was exceptional as was William, who was so helpful and attentive. Karolina on reception was so helpful and informative. Even the spa staff were fantastic. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel, food was excellent the views are spectacular. Thank you all so much, we wished we had booked longer. We will be back soon

The hotel was lovely definitely more outdated and less modern but I like this style so it did not bother us at all! The tea and coffee left was nice and the still/sparkling water taps around the hotel were very convenient! The staff were lovely at the hotel and very helpful, the breakfast in bed service was fantastic, all you had to do was fill the form left in your room and hang it on your door outside, it was then brought to us during the time slot we checked out and the food was lovely! The spa was fantastic, we couldn’t find much information on it and we were a little disappointed with the lack of a hot tub but the steam room was nice and the pool was a good temperature. The provided towels and robes were fantastic too although we were told we’d receive slippers but didn’t, which we hadn’t packed. The spa treatments we had were fantastic. Caitlyn was my masseuse and she couldn’t have been any better. She made me feel very comfortable very quickly and gave me lots of time to get ready and prepared. The service from her was absolutely fantastic!! Overall a lovely little spa break, I hope to be back one day!
